BBC ONE are in their own set becuase there's no reason for them not to be!!

The reason News 24 are sharing with World is becuase News 24's set is being renevated - please read the start of this thread!

It looks quite strange with both Chris and Anna sitting in the World news room, especially with that big gap separating them! But I like it!

Well its Chris Lowe and Anna Jones!! It looks a little obscure, as there is a large gap in between them, where the desk has been separated. How come they're now doing this with 2 presenters, last time, when the bomb went off, they just chose one presenter, Chris Lowe.

I WANT NEWS 24 TO STAY IN THAT STUDIO FOREVER AND LET BBC WORLD NEWS GO INTO THEIR ONE

Ok, do you all know my feeling about that studio now? It's f***ing brilliant!

Well if you feel so strong about this issue, why don't you start up a pressure group:D

Yes I do like the BBC World News studio, but I also like the News 24 one!! I think I'd choose BBC World News' studio though! There's so much more going on in the background, e.g. at 1200 GMT, there was a man sat behind Maxine Mawhinney eating his lunch! Also, the vamps and idents are much more lively and just generally better!

Mind you, if we had that set 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we'd probably get sick and tired of it. The only reason we like it is becuase its so special when we get to see it. I bet BBC World viewers of the forum like the News 24 set!

Has anyone else noticed the cameras in shot when the presenter talks to the video screen. This looks very odd.

Does anyone think the vamp they are using today, the one also used overnight, follows really badly into the World News ident? It really is too high pitched for the ident. The proper BBC World News one is much better. They could have used that one today, the one with no thunderclaps, used at *.15 on BBC World normally. They could have therefore used this at *.15 today, followed by a decent tag, instead of the mixture of overnight vamp and News 24 tag!! Now they've resorted to using the N24 vamp at *.15, even on the joint bulletins!

Yes I noticed that, its probably becuase its only a smalll set really, there doesn't appear to be as much room between the railing dividing the set from the newsroom and the desk and the desk and the cameras, as there is on News 24!
