*Sigh!*

Umm, if you read between the lines I think Nicky is telling us that N24 are going to have the same facelift.

Hey, I wonder what they'll do with the old desk. Perhaps they could auction it for charity? (Not bloody likely).

You're reading too much into what I said ... it's only for one weekend!

Nicky please tell us more! Why are we going to be seeing the World studio this weekend? Does this mean that News 24 are going to be getting a facelift?

either sometime in november or January, bbc world will be getting a new presentation style, and the music will all be more like The World Today.

and i believe news24 is going to be re-vitalised along side News Interactive if not sometime in november.

Not all changes to a studio and gallery area are directly visible on-screen. Wink

Every so often gallery and newsroom equipment needs a little bit of time off-air to recover from all that hard work... Maybe all the News 24 equipment needs a little bit of a holiday!

We'll see on Monday if anything has changed...

and the fact there is an interactive studio being added to news 24 soon for news interactive hasnt anything to do with it.........

Noggin is ofcourse right ... not all changes happen on screen!
And sorry to disappoint but I wouldn't expect a whole new studio for interactive .... more likely to be a CSO job!
I only mentioned that fans of the World set will be (barring any last minute changes) able to see it on News 24 this weekend! just like sometimes you see it overnight

So who'll be presenting then? They usually have some News 24 presenters on when they use the World set, so will it be Maxine, Phil and Chris Lowe/Anna Jones, or will there be some World ones mixed in aswell, i.e. Anita McNaught (I hope so!), Mike Embley and Adrian Finighan?
