BBC World Service Television

Triggered by MHP-Chat, I've developed a sudden curiousity for graphics/images/sound clips from BBC World Service Television or (even better), BBC Europe TV from the eighties. I would be most interested in any material anyone has/can point me in the direction to. Anyone?

Sorry, should add what I've already come across:

- Content from TV World
- Intertel
- The Sound clip from Isonstine TV

If anyone has a CRV laser disk player (that's the Sony Professional disk player, now defunct), they can have the original 'wavey flag' World material, both the News & Presentation

It's interesting to note from the site you mentioned, there was a BBC Asia, when did it start and how long did it last?

When World first started, there used to be 2 distinct channels - BBC Europe & BBC Asia, both taking the BBC World News.

BBC Europe became BBC Prime, and BBC Asia became BBC World.
I don't know when exactly they changed, but at least 4 years ago

That was in January 1995.

There's no other way you can get it to us?
