At around 05.00 GMT, BBC World did the following:

- Showed the rare weather breakfiller (didn't use the weather icons I may add) Shocked
- A BBCworld.com advert with the countdown music playing, then fading to countdown at 18 seconds. Confused

And they were broadcasting BBC News 24 in 16:9, but deformed into 4:3... grr... it makes everyone have real thin heads.

Yeah I don't think anyone was watching this, but I thought that it was worthy enough to give it a mention here. Smile

I saw the weather in the breakfiller just an hour ago. I only see it about once in a month.

No wonder the rare appereance. It is not very informative with only 5 cities. But the music is great.

The Weather breakfiller is always on during weekend mornings(GMT time)

I have seen a few World bulletins go out in 4:3, but that was during last weekend, and did anyone see the way Crap 24 showed 'Reporters', they zoomed it in so much, you could only see the half of the Reporters logo, terrible!

That was a fault in the original recording, made because of all the changes which happened last weekend.

It's the best one, it's got that slow tom-tom version of the music Razz:
DD
Dolby Digital
Yeah that wetaher one is great! Shame we don't get it more often. Maybe they should improve it a bit add more cities or something like that!

BTW,has anyone seen the new DW-TV weather graphics, they are really good!

Yeah, they do look really nice.

Then again I am quite a fan of DWTV. They have great up to the hour music, and my old favourite Alistair Yates, ex Sky News/BBC WORLD presenter.

Its actually a good idea - a multi language news channel. I must say they report the news well.

Should be available on SkyDigital, although luckily I can watch it from 13°E along with WSTV. Smile
