I've noticed that the 9.40 summary is going out with BBC World titles, the headlines bed is now played and the BBC World ending credits, with the website at the bottom!

Is this going to be permenent?

I don't understand - on BBC World or News 24? They don't have a summary at 9.40 do they?

If you watch at 9.40 am BBC News 24 usually go over to the BBC World newsroom normally without the idents and headlines, just the usual summary, but they seemed to have changed it now and have decided to let News 24 viewers see the BBC World news titles and listen to the headlines bed with the end credits as well!

BTW It's been simulcast on BBC World, but I thing it will last for some time yet!

The reason you're getting the title is that it's going out on World as well as News 24.
I imagine once things start to get back to normal and World start putting out more pre-recorded back half-hours it will return to the old handover and only be on News 24 ... who knows when that will be.
