How bout this as the News on the hour

1) 60 second countdown
2) about 10 seconds into the countdown the headline vamp starts and the headlines are shown, and an introduction of the presenter. e.g. 'This is BBC News im _____ _______'
3) About 15 seconds from the end of the countdown we go back to the countdown, then the BBC News ident is played, and the programme begins.

Or................

If it was the Headline bed with the five seconds between the thunderclaps then: -

1) the Countdown would be played from 60 Seconds
2) From about 20 seconds in the headline vamp plays and the headlines are read, there is also an introduction of the Newsreader e.g. ' This is BBC News, Im _______ _______.'
3) the Countdown returns at about 15 seconds to the hour, and when finished the ident plays.

If you tell me what you think i can make it up, and then try and find some webspace to put it on.

If you're talking about real transmission as opposed to a mock-up created by yourself, then it won't work I'm afraid...

Lots of countries opt-in at the very top of the hour & will miss your 'This is BBC World & I'm Fred Bloggs' etc.

Waste of time really

That probably wouldn't work...'a waste of precious BBC transmission time'.
