You are too right. To be honest World is just as boring as News 24, the only thing good about it is that it has different and maybe slighter presentation to News 24 and has a slightly different perspective. I have watched the channel on normal TV when I was in France a couple of years ago and I can say it is nothing to brag about, even when you watch it overnight on BBC News 24 and BBC One the only thing you'll think is great is that the opening and closing titles are different to News 24.
Really you are missing nothing great, if you want Breaking News there's a good chance it will be covered by News 24 and means something more to you and it can tell you the time too and it doesn't have advertising. I mean really does anyone off the forum actually watch World for the full half hour of news, it would be likely that if people had the chance to see it including myself would only watch it at the top of the hour and at 30 minutes past to see what the idents are like. To be honest it's the same with News 24 at times, alot of people including myself again probably only put on News 24 to watch the old countdown.
I mean the graphics, music and ident is slightly better but otherwise you are getting nothing different than News 24 IMO.
