Has anyone ever managed to watch the stream of World on REAL SUPERPASS. I tried again today as I am now living in France and even with a french debit card it still wouldnt let me view it. My application for the pass was approved and then i got cannot connect messages until I gave up. I am just interested to know if anyone else has managed to subscribe and watch.

Thanks

Speaking of recieving BBC World, does anyone know where to point a sat. dish to recieve it please? I know the info used to be on bbcworld.com, but it seems to have disappeared.

I think the Real One stream on bbcworld.com isn't working, I tried it with a Gold pass and it wouldn't work for me. Perhaps it's just if you live outside Europe.

I couldn't get it to work with the Mac OS X version of RealOne Player when I was living in Spain earlier this year.

I took out Superpass subscriptions twice, but no luck.

Hmmm, would that be a rather unauthorised, and somewhat illegal feed of BBC World, perchance?

Eitherway, whoever is re-broadcasting BBC World via that URL, has been having a few technical
problems with their digital satellite equipment, as the picture kept breaking up, and showing an
on-screen message as though their digital receiver wasn't receiving an adequate signal . . .

I still don't understand the appeal and mass hysteria usually on this forum about BBC World which a limited number of members seem to watch constantly.

I mean just what is the appeal ? The times I've seen it, it feels aloof, self-important, drab and boring, yet it still seems like the Holy Grail of the TV world, and something that everyone wants to get hold of.

Who want's to watch news from a World perspective anyway and not from a domestic view at the world. I just don't get it.
