At 14.13 (a very bizare time), News 24 went over to a similcast with BBC World, which was described by N24 as a BBC News Special. However the reporter introduced it as 'Welcome to this BBC News Special broadcasting globally via BBC World and in the United Kingdom with BBC News 24' with the generic 'overnight' vamp in the background. We then went into the ident .. fair enough - that's what normally happens, except this time it was not the generic overnight ident, nor the BBC News Special one, but the BBC World one (equipped with |B|B|C| WORLD at the bottom). Odd!

Was this because it was coming from the BBC World gallery and they didn't have the overnight ident or was it simply a mistake? Anyone?

Probably just a mistake - it was from the World gallery.
