I doubt it (tomorrows schedule isn't finalised yet so I can't take a look at what is scheduled). I doubt if the whole thing will be used other than in an emergency, due to World having a network director who will fiddle with the schedules to add or loose time with promotional material.
Although, it is possible at the moment due to the lack of promotional material being available to soak up time.
andyrew, how come the BBC World.com Channel Schedules don't list who'll be presenting BBC NEWS, like the News 24 page does in Whatson? I've e-mailed them several times about this, but no-one bothers to reply!
That's rather typical of BBC Worldwide i'm afraid!

Blimey that is nice it's what i've always been waiting for.....
Oh BTW, did anyone hear just before 0700 BST Today some weird break filler music, it was like nothing I heard before, it was put together with the static coming up caption. They usually use the normal coming up one.
Yes, its a low beat isn't it? Thats used if the breakfiller has a problem I think, as its the breakfiller vamp. I like it! It would be a good breakfiller for if the sombre titles are ever used all day long - it sounds quite sad!

Certainly Does doesn't it!
Wil they ever over lay a menu on the new world countdown do you think?
It is possible, using the same piece of kit that creates the breakfiller, but we'll have to wait & see.
It's technically more difficult to do the countdown clock in World than it is in N24 though, because of how World Pres's automation system operates, so we'll just have to wait & see
on the download off the first page, at the start there is a bit of doubling in the sound (i.e. echo type thing, gosh am not i technical) anyhow i hink that sounds very BBC World, anyone else agree?
I know what you mean, and yes it does sound very 'world' like! But I think it doesn't fit in very well, it sounds awful, but maybe that's because we haven't heard the full thing!!
