Before I put a full stop though, I think some of you have misunderstood what I said, because I failed to give an example of what I was trying to talk about, so I am going to give an example of what I have been trying to say all along!

This example I have taken from the 8.00 BST BBC World Bulletin which was presented By Steven Cole

8.00 BBC World vamp played out perfectly with the correct sound level
8.14 Before the break, the BBC World vamp is played again, but at a slightly lower level
8.17 After the break, a reminder of the headlines from Mr Cole, but the vamp is played very low. you can just about hear it!

So you can see from my example, that the vamp had been played out with three different levels!, and it has got lower and lower! so can you see what I am on about now. I was not talking about high or low the vamp should be, I were talking about the variation in vamp level in each bulletin!

This however dosen't happen all the time though!

Surely the vamp was not designed to be played out at different levels for each bulletin!

Hopefully I've now clarified what I was talking about.
