The WBR got a new look this morning, and I have to say it was a missed opportunity.
Same music, but evolutionary visuals on the title sequence, and apart from that not a great deal has changed. Astons and straps remained untouched, while the stings got the same visual treatment as the new titles, which end with a development of the old logo. Gone is the blurred laptop, replaced instead with a red and black background with dot-matrix-style words and numbers buzzing all over it, and then a 'zoom-in' effect as the WBR logo gets bigger and slams into screen.
Sorry, no caps, but hopefully someone else will pop some up. Apologies if this is being covered elsewhere, but I'm just on my way to work, and not got any time to check!
Anyway... yes: they could have done better, they should have done better - bit of a waste of time really. Come to think of it, I'm of a similar opinion to their efforts on Simpson's World... this culture of half-hearted revamps and dragging of feet is getting most tiresome.
