When one of you recieves their CD, could you convert the 4 tracks to MP3s and put them on TV home for others to download
I think the BBC might get a little annoyed about that, since it's something you have to pay for...

I think putting them on a website would be a bad idea!
I've seen the hastle it can cause - I would strongly advise people not to put these sounds on the internet at all. If you want the sounds MDTA I think you should get off your arse and buy the CD!
Done, orders, posted, it'll be at BBC World (london) this evening

Seeing as people have to pay for this CD i also think it is a good idea to keep it off the net for the time being. Remember the contents on most TV Websites is obtained by people's own recordings so if they decide to put in on a website that's up to them and the BBC and other companies don't seem to object, however they will if u buy their CD and put it on the net because it is preventing other people from buying it;)

Exactly - that's why it will say (C) BBC Worldwide on it - meaning, if I remember correctly, it's OK for your own use but redistribution or public 'listening' is not allowed. Like copying VHS vids etc.
I don't think it'd be fair on those who paid for the cd for the sounds to be put on the net. I posted my form off yesterday but won't be expecting the cd until January at the earliest.

Exactly right. I would appreciate that anyone that wishes to listen to the tracks buys the CD and does not post a link on TV Forum to any mp3s that may appear. Clean tracks of sounds not available to buy are one thing but clean tracks of sounds you have to pay for, is quite another.
