What nonsense. It's not a private link for a collective few to know about. The URL would eventually be made available to everyone else and regardless of whether the Beeb do find it out, it'll disappear and another one will appear a few months down the line.
Talk about a secret society...
and err... why should it not be kept private?? something is far better benefitng a few people well that not benefiting anyone at all. the stream will no doubt slow down and be closed totally because of the big mouths of a few members.
Because then we have a two tier TVF, where some members get more benefit from the TVF and related TV resources than others who don't have the info...
Well if someone finds something, or obtains the stream - its only fair that person decides whos they give it to. Now that access will pobably be closed down for everyone just because someone was worried that they we were loosing out
its ridiculous - thats the equivalent of Britian giving the whole of the EU its oil & gas reserves just because the other EU members don't have access to that resource otherwise - No matter how silly the EU is, its not that stupid and based on your ideals psnowden, thank god.
If I didnt have the stream and I knew someone else did, I wouldn't want it closed down just because I can't use it!
HOW RIDICULOUS... we're talking about a poxy live feed, not a nations energy reserves being squandered and the public and political furore that would surround it... Get it into perspective.
I mean you could say that as a result of the recent 'leaking' by certain members of the News 24 set, graphics etc. that THIS could jeopardise future information sources... but it is this insider, 'no supposed to have' information that we can get on here that separates the TVF as the hugely useful and informative place it is, from a pointless talking shop.
I thought the idea of the forum was to talk about, and share TV pres and associated resources.
Silly me.

Yes that is the idea, but if a resource is shared then removed - nobody benefits do they? My point stands that the stream is better to benefit a few people rather than no-one at all.

If you have dialup then you can forget about watching it.

I agree with that but I do realize that this site is meant to share TV info...etc. Apologies to my post asking for the link to be removed but certain invididuals knew that there would be a cost to making it public, but its only a link after all.
Bogaboy, lets not get personal here .I have other priorities which includes going to University, giving time to my family, friends, job etc..... This is a small hobby on the side. There are more important things in life than appreciating television presentation.
Yes, I think seeing BBC World online is great, but one can only watch so much. I like the feed, DONT LOVE it as you presume. After all, its just a channel. If you recall, there are some on this forum who have it in their countries and are not impressed over the hype that people make of it elsewhere - for those who dont have it on a 24 hr basis.

Oh give me a break DC, I don't think even your own mother will believe such thing . You have to admit it; you love the live feed. A shame I can't downloading from home or work...

It's such a shame that people on other Internet forum sites have not listened to your argument, and have just posted the address anyway...
