Is it, in anyway, possible to receive BBC World within the United Kingdom? There must be some way to receive the signal via satelite?
Cheers!

Mr Voiceover
Whats so good about BBC World. This topic arrises time, and time again, and I'm nearly at the point of boycotting all topics with thw words BBC World/News 24 in them.
Would you all be so cross if you wern't able to receive BBC Parliament? My guess is, yes you would, even though I doubt any of you lot are avid veiwers!

Yes you can recieve BBC World in the United Kingdom, but on Analogue satelite with the dish pointed to 13 degrees east, which is the hotbird constillation...

Daniel is a new member and so wouldn't have been able to read previous posts. Just as other new members will continue to rant on about Sky News some will bring up the question of BBC World
So please Mrvoiceover, don't be so unwelcoming to new members.
It also might be an idea for Asa to post some information about receiving BBC World on the new page once the website is back up and running and then intolerant among us could relax a little.

Who are they then?
There's me and then there is SkyNews.... can't think of anyone else.
The fact is no matter what happens the BBC will always have top postition on this forum.
I noticed your use of verbs there Martin.... the use of the word 'Rant' for Sky News and 'bring up' for the BBC.
Clear bias.

tut tut.
I wouldnt have expected someone who likes Sky News to know what a doing word is because Sky certainly don`t
(Proverb 6:12-13 Have I got News for You)
Oh well, you've only just insulted about 80 million people there.
Sky don't know what a word is... right, well then what have they been broadcasting for the past 12 years?
I was simply pointing out that like your friends at the BBC you show clear bias in everything you post, that is a very naughty thing to do, don't you agree?
That was overall a bit of a silly statement to make wasn't it? Looking back you probably feel quite silly now.
That's ok because I'm going to give you the opportunity to apologise to me, because I'm such a fair guy.
Martin, if you want to act like a silly little boy then that is how I will treat you.
Oh and just so you know... it is generally accepted that you use a ' sign not a ` sign as an apostrophe.
