Really, I do know what you mean! But I think people are just interested, that's all! They do, after all pay for the BBC and want to view all its services.
Although, I seem to remember, BBC World had advertising!

When it does they are added (obviously) on a country by country basis (except Italy and IIRC Austria)
The feed from the BBC - including the one on the net just shows on screen news, sport and weather headlines.
BBC World isn't OFFICIALLY available in the UK but if you put your analogue dish and receiver at 13°E you can receive it. Can't remember the frequency off the top of my head but it comes in clear as a bell. Albeit in analogue.

I've recieved BBC World ever since the last flags era(ah the memories) and like my good friend said it comes through cystral clear.
(As a bonus in the UK we can recieve the 100% clean feed exept when World decide to show the occasional ad in between those breaks i.e. Boeing, American Express)

But is there any possibility of receiving it with Sky Digital?
No!! I think its encrypted or something like that, but you definately cannot recieve it using SKY Digital. There is no possible legal way of recieving it in the UK other than over the internet. I'm not sure whether using the SKY analogue reciever and pointing it towards Hotbird is legal or what?
BBC World isn't available via Sky Digital yet, although they are supposed to be putting it on a satellite that it in line of our dish but will be encrypted. Shame

Thanks for your replies. I would just like to say what an excellent site this is, since I discovered it two weeks ago I have been looking at the forums most evenings.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing the new site when it is launched.
