The theory goes that BBC WORLD News
always
use the top left dingo unless it obscures an important part of the picture where the lower left Dingo is used
I can assure you the version I'm listening too at the moment is 'Coming Up', 'Sport', 'News', 'Business' and definitely 'Weather'!!!
The version you must have downloaded Andrew, was a 2mb file which existed on the BBC World page until it was replaced by the version above but probably was only a couple of weeks before the downloads were removed.
The 2min30secs is probably a collection all stuck together but
does
include the weather one!!!!

Its nice to know you foreigners chipping in with your £108 of licence fee money too then! No adverts!!
The BBC should scrap world, is just a big money guzzling waste. The British Broadcasting Corporation should be JUST for the people of Britain. Not broadcasting all these TV and Radio stations to non-licence paying scroungers!!

Yep, that's the one I've got. It's actually 2.3MB.

Ahh -- that's probably the case then! Good-oh!
Any chance of those last 30s then ??

Matt -- sorry to have disagreed! The file I have is only 2.1MB.
Jamez -- Either you are deliberately being antagonistic, or you have absolutely no conception of how BBC World (the tv station - not the forum member ) is financed. Care to enlighten us?

Ok, its just i whole-heartedly diagree with the BBC haveing international tv/radio stations, when the Beeb should be focusing all its resources and money on getting their native British channels in order. BBC 1 recently published its most dismal viewing figures for a long time, and yet the BBC continues with these projects like broadcasting a scoot of other channels such as BBC America, BBC World, BBC ARENT WE BLOODY MARVELOUS etc.

Not quite sure why you disgree. I must be getting the wrong end of the stick. I have a file which I downloaded from Tv Home a while ago. It's 2.3MB and is exactely in the order how Asa described it on Page one. It ends with the weather music and is far too good for a mix. It's genuine.

The file I have is different to yours, hence the mix-up
Jamez, before Andrew Wood knocks your block off (!!), I'll explain a little something to you...
BBC World is not funded by the BBC. It is funded by BBC Worldwide, the same people who make the Radio Times, publish all the Delia Smith books, and sell you all those nice Doctor Who videos.
It is the commercial arm of the BBC. Because of the Royal Charter, the BBC cannot fund a commercial station which is why BBC Worldwide pay for it.
Do you see? It has absolutely
nothing
to do with BBC1 or 2. Your licence fee isn't being spent on it

Jamez -- BBC World, America, Prime aren't funded by the licence fee, but through advertising and subscriptions, and are run by a separate entity called 'BBC Worldwide'
Theoretically, there is no drain on the BBC's funds as, as has been discussed here before, BBCWW has to 'pay' for the services provided to it by the BBC itself. Eg BBC News provides the news on BBC World, but BBCWW has to 'pay' the BBC for it.
Techy -- Am I really that bad ? (No, don't answer that!)

Moot point about BBC Worldwide, though -- as they make most of their money from selling on the BBC's output either on video, cd, in print, and to other stations -- surely some of this money has to be ploughed back in to the BBC itself, therefore the commercial arm must be funding the Corp in a way.
