The News set looks like an axe-wielding TD has been let loose & taken a huge wedge out of it for no reason.
I think it's horrible.
And for Gods sakes guys, have you never heard of a waveform monitor & black level??!!

Pictures look slightly crushed, or maybe the lighting's been turned down a bit. Or perhaps the camera's HAVE been lined up and it just looks 'different' - lol. Personally I prefer slightly more contrasty shots rather than being too sat-up.
The new 'Business' area looks out of place with the new plasma just floating in space. That little bit of newsroom behind the 'camera 4' shot with the plasma is strange and the 'camera 2' main presenter shot now looks far to busy and distracting.
Thumbs down from me, but I guess we'll get used to it in time.

Well I've just seen the 1300 start of the 1300 bulletin, and I must say that I like they way you can see the desk infront of Nik Gowing now when he's reading the news. They should do this on News 24. The newsroom is definately brighter, and the studio is darker. Although I think it looks great. I'll have a look properly tomorrow at 9.30 on News 24! I may get some screengrabs if I can.
