I was watching Asia Today of news24 this morning and noticed a large set of silver windows behing the world studio. Can someone please tell me what this is.

Also, a quote from a website about the C3NE ident
Tyne Tees Logo Page
dreadfully dramatic jingles that were played every time that blasted 3 appeared on your screen, which was obviously based on the music played on Neighbours every time Helen Daniels fell of the set-tee, dropping her paintbrush on the floor at the same time

Anyone think of a better description for it, s*** e springs to mind but its not interesting enough and my sense of humour isn't working at 10 to six in the morning.

P.S.
ASA. Pretty buttons on the post topic thing. Very Posh. how'd ya do it?

World don't have any windows with an outside view. Probably what you saw was the output suite

The thing i was talking about was a large room with large silvery windows coving the whole place, it was just behind N9 to the left

As you look down the Newsroom, on camera left, they're white plastic sheets with lights behind them (don't think they turn them on any more)

They were used when News24 used to reside in N9. World also used them when they first went during the 'flags' era, but now they're just plain white plastic sheets

Ha ha Smile
They are now, but in a cost-concious BBC would you rather they spend £1,000's on changing it, or can you live with them concidering they are not offensive in the slightest and you only see them for probably 0.5% of broadcasting time from N9?

Ahhh, I see.

I must agree with you, that wall does look a bit bare.
