BBC Winter

Warning - very hard winter on the way!

Why? Well, BBC One are currently running trails for 'Winter'. Last time they advertised a season it was for summer - Glastonbury, Wimbledon, the Proms, etc, etc. We then had one of the best summers we've had in years. All the events which were being televised as part of the season had great weather. It all seemed to work as if the BBC had booked good weather!

Now they're advertising winter, perhaps they know something again.

Here comes the snow...!

I think BBC One had an autumn version, it ended with the word autumn in a forest with golden leaves. I think they are well produced, better than another advertisement for the six extra BBC channels.

That's been running for 2 weeks...

Could someone tell me what the song on the BBC Winter advert is please? I must know what it is!

Can't remember which one it is, but it's defo Arcade Fire, from their album Funeral. Think it might be "Rebellion (Lies)" or "Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)".

The BBC seem to like them for their trailers at the moment.

Hope there isn't a Spring one.

Anyone remember about 5 year's ago when Nickelodeon started their Spring Advertising? 'Mr Minter prefer's the winter, Spring!'
