Nice to see a new Westminster studio in use on News 24's coverage of the recall of Parliament. A nice live view of the Commons behind Nick Robinson and guests.

Have they moved a floor or two downstairs then?
The view I assume is real, and there is a big BBC sticker on the top right.

I agree it looks very nice. I also particularly like the pre-conference debates News 24 have had on Sunday nights.

Has anyone got any screen grabs, or know where to get them from?

Isn't it just the porta-cabin which is wheeled out on such big occassions? Looked like it

Is it an ITV F1 type studio that is built on the top of a truck.

Well News 24 has a 'Westminster Special' in 7 minutes time, presumably with the great Mr Robinson himself, so we'll get to have another look.

I personally much prefer the Westminster backdrop to the Millbank newsroom.

Nick Robinson is impressive, better than Marr. But not anywhere close to Adam Boulton, who's certainly the most respected TV political editor in the country.

The conference debates are an idea copied from - shock horror - Sky News. Sky normally runs a 'Forum' programme every month, always covering the conferences. However, I think with the new look these programmes may be consigned to the history books, which is a great shame. OT but may as well say it whilst I'm banging on about Sky, their coverage today was very impressive indeed. News 24, in comparison, was news to fall asleep by. Bit confusing though, Chris Rogers saying 'We've got three bits of breaking news to bring to you right now', all three flashing about, coverage of all was impressive though. Hilarious to see the Sky reporter was thought to be one of the lawyers involved with this court case, Beeb cameras instantly zoomed into him, until they realised he was talking (live on air) to the other Sky correspondent outside the court. Just get rid of those stupid astons, Sky!

Did anyone get any screengrabs of this by the way?
