Just went to bbc.co.uk only to find there is no longer a BBC logo in top-left, it has been replaced with "bbc.co.uk"

How long has this been there then?

for ease: http://www.bbc.co.uk

I saw it for the fist time today, and I'm a daily visitor.

I think they're trying to reinforce the brand bbc.co.uk rather than the old BBC Online or BBCi brands. BBCi is now just used for Digital Text services, though I think internally it encompasses Ceefax as well.

I think you'll find that I suggested this when BBCi became bbc.co.uk! Taken their time!!! Wink

Now they need to reinstate the BBC TV and Radio logos...

I noticed this as well today. Branding-wise I'm not sure it's a great idea, as there are quite a few pages where the proper BBC 'blocks' logo doesn't appear at all.

They were mostly taken off because of the BBCi relaunch ...

I've been meaning to ask for some time: are you capable of writing sentences that don't end in exclamation marks?

Just for you BBC LDN, I will write something that dosen't end in an exclamation mark, yes I am glad someone has noticed though, my sentences always seem to end with an exclamation mark, it's just second nature I guess.

If they really felt the need to have the url on each page, couldn't they at least have tried and put the [B][B][C] logo inthere somewhere?

I remember when they introduced this logo they claimed it was so easily recognizable on all sizes. (or were they only talking about DOGs there?)
