I think they're trying to reinforce the brand

rather than the old BBC Online or BBCi brands. BBCi is now just used for Digital Text services, though I think internally it encompasses Ceefax as well.
I noticed this as well today. Branding-wise I'm not sure it's a great idea, as there are quite a few pages where the proper BBC 'blocks' logo doesn't appear at all.
But it does, it just looks silly on the left, just because you don't agree dosen't mean you have the right to tell people to shut up you moron!
I've been meaning to ask for some time: are you capable of writing sentences that don't end in exclamation marks?
Just for you BBC LDN, I will write something that dosen't end in an exclamation mark, yes I am glad someone has noticed though, my sentences always seem to end with an exclamation mark, it's just second nature I guess.
