BBC Video Idents

I have been dusting off and recording the BBC Video Idents from the 1980s and 1990s, and found that they really are quite cool idents too.

The one I really like is the BBC Video one used in the mid-1980s of the colour spectrum - which when the video was new (I was about 4 years old), the colours used to be so awesome, plus the fact the video itself was of Postman Pat!!

I like the current one, with the nice calm music with the two or three ribbons in the background.

Oh please, Mr Voiceover can you post an mp3 of the end theme as well. That was just as good. PLEASE!

OK. I have uploaded two BBC Video themes. The first one is the end ident of the mid-1980s ident, and the second from around 1989, with the then blue and gold spinning globe.
