Is UK Today running its closing theme at the opening of the programme purposely or is it a mistake? I noticed about 2 frames of a UK Today Ident after the BBC ONE ident, so perhaps they had become out of sequence? I know they had at one point edited (rather substandardly) the opening titles to make them a bit shorter - are they now using the closing theme for this reason??

The English regions ending used to be the theme used when it was simulcast on News 24 but when it split off, they edited the normal theme slightly. Which sounded tacky BTW. I NEVER EVER watch UK Today though, its just not a viable alternative to my regional programme!!

Please, BBC can't we have regions on BBC ONE?

I have no idea if they are doing it on purpose but who cares because nobody watches it!!!

The BBC can't afford to put all the regions on Sky, hence UK Today!

Shame, although it doesn't make any difference to me. I'm normally up in my bedroom between 6 and 7:30 with the internet and TV card Smile
That way I can watch Midlands Today.

i think they can afford it but until there are at least 60% digital viewers in the uk its not worth it yet.
