Erm, no. You were referring to BBC2 NI which played out Ice Cube. The one in question is the network were Snowman was shown.

I didn't realise you were a mindreader.

In referring to the scripts in question, both were pointing to the same programme, Blizzard: Race to the Pole, tomorrow evening.

Thank you for clearing that up.

I wasn't being rude, honestly. I just got my wires crossed.

One thing that's always puzzled me is why BBC One from London is known as 'network'. It gives off the impression that it's somehow superior to the versions of BBC One in Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland.

Why isn't BBC One from London simply called BBC One England? It makes far more sense than this stupid "network" business.

The nations versions of BBC One all have far better announcers than the ones in London. There's one chap, Delroy (according to TV Room) who always sounds like he is just about to have a poo. I don't know whether his stupid voice is put-on for the microphone or if he really is always in a state of impending defecation - but the man sounds like an imbecile.

Probably down to the fact that the nations opt out of the network sustaining feed to do their own thing locally. If for whatever reason a nation didn't opt and the network junction went out rather than the nation's it wouldn't look very good for it to say BBC One England.
