BBC Two Relaunch in November

Just A minute,there's a billboard outside my house looking like that!

Much as I would love it to happen - that graphic looks awesome -, I don't believe there will be a relaunch. BBC2 will stay the same it always has, throughout November and beyond. And I have this on good authority (same source who pre-empted the announcement on ITN retaining their news franchise).

I want BBC Two to 'relaunch' - just to add a little difference to BBC Channels.

The official word is there is no relaunch, thats cause its hush hush...

I do so hope you're right, but what was andyrew talking about then when he said in another thread, 'Remember, remember, the 12th of November'?

So, to clarify it for a thick head like me, is there to be a relaunch of BBC Two or not? Simple answers please!

Yes but the BBC is keeping it a secret.

I'm not saying your wrong but with overwelming evidence I think that there will be a relaunch anyway, remember BBC2 hasn't always looked like this, it has for 10 years.

What I don't understand is why now? If the idents are ready, why not start them on Monday with the launch of 2W which surely must be a good indication of how they'll be. Or why not wait to January when BBC One changes? I could just see the two heads' in a meeting 'I want a launch in January' 'Well I'm going to start two months earlier ner ner!'

AFAIK (and that is on very good authority from two different sources) that BBC One NOR BBC Two are getting any new idents or additions to idents THIS YEAR!

There will be small changes to presentation on-screen, but thats about it for now.
