Now the right one seems to have been generated away from the normal template for some unknown reason or are BBC Two logos just naturally getting bigger these days?!

the big change on Monday is - a bigger logotype on slides???
I think the beeb maybe moving towards what I call the Radio 1 font (thats where I remember it from) instead of Gill Sans for trailers(its on one of those earlier and is on the Walking With Beasts billboard opposite where I work). I'd prefer them to carry on with Gill Sans but they probably want to differentiate between logos and captions.

Funny, on all the Walking with Beasts posters I've seen in my area, it's nothing but Gill Sans!
