The Beeb have i think decided to go fully Widescreen with idents and trailers, so it would work as long as the graphix are in the 4:3 safezone

bbc two darlek ident was aired again at closedown on 02/11/01 (early hours of 03/11/01) - it was also used last weekend too.

they dont seem to be bothered at the fact it has no URL on - so its not that unlikely that old idents cant be broutght out of retirement for 1 last time.

Yeah, I've been setting the timer for the recent BBC TWO closedowns which are only at weekends really and i noticed the Dalek ident friday night, I preferred the idents without the url anyway but it seems strange without it!

Yes, they look much cleaner without them but I guess there's (probably) not much point redoing them. I got the Dalek closedown which was nice as I needed that in widescreen but I'm still on the look out for Kebab 2 and 3!!!

And as older MHP-members may know, it took me nine months of cat and mouse games to get BBC One Ident Millennium Dome! (Saw it twice in the summer while on holiday without a VCR - doh!) But ended up getting it twice in two nights - although one of them happened to be the full version Razz:

Looks like the countdown for W/S Kebab 2 and 3 is ticking.....

Before UK Gold relaunched, Asa was trying to catch every junction in the weeks running up to the relaunch to catch a rare ident.

I like ur latest '2' design mdta, I like the way it is based on 'Wave Night' 2 Ident, it wouldn't be so bad if the BBC still kept the same 2's but in that form on screen!

Haha! I found out that it was a different length version of an existing ident (i.e. the ident starts half way through an existing ident). But I never did get it, no!

And great designs Martin. Who knows, they could just come out like that!

They would be fine with me. However I would only accept the new twos if they resembled the ones on now as the one above doe.

Or should that be the tweo above
ha ha ha ha ha  ha.

erm, yes

P.S. Wouldn't the BBC Four ident havebbc.co.uk/bbcfour

on it. Look closely...
