Has BBC Two just rebranded?

BBC Two is currently on my TV, and after a quick break they just aired a new ident? It features the classic '2' in lots of different scenes and scenarios. I haven't watched BBC Two in a few weeks so I'm not entirely sure if it's just rebranded or it happened awhile ago. Also, I'm new here, so sorry if I got anything wrong.

Not that I'm aware of.... Although they did bring back the classic 2's after their 50th birthday last year. But that's the 'current' package.

I'm aware of the classic 2's branding, but what I saw on tv earlier definitely wasn't one of the classic 2 idents. I'll see if I can capture the branding later.

I saw it, seemed all new to me. Keeping the same font/style for the big black and white 2 at the end.

Haven't they been using special idents for their Saturday art nights?

Its probably some rememberance day things.

I don't think it's a remembrance day branding, because it has no 'rememberance' or war type theme. It just seems to be a new branding.

You might be correct actually, looking at it again with no BBC Two box it could be just a new theme of idents.

Maybe they're teasing with a preview of a potentially new ident set. Some of those seem to look like too much effort has gone into them to just be for that one ident.
