Is there any need to promote Heroes anymore? It's on in the same time slot every week and it's too late for people to start watching the series now so I'd say there's no real point in promoting it, other than mentioning it on the ECP and the Tonight graphics.

The old "overpromotion" argument again, but I see where you're coming from. Stealth promotion rarely works for me and if anything makes me not to watch a particular programme (a good case in point being Maxwell).

I'm with you on that one. Nothing puts me off a programme more than it being billed as the next big thing. I like to think I'm intelligent enough to decide what I'd like to watch, without TV companies telling me that I'd be a paedo not to watch the latest thing they've wasted money on.

And nothing shows how over promoting something can come back to bite you on the backside than 'Thursdays are Funny.' This is crying out for people to say no it isn't and to avoid it like the plague!

Another white box logo? It's not like the standard Aqua wouldn't show up, because it obviously would...

No, but it would look crap in teal wouldn't it?

They've been using exactly that on the recent Heroes trails - which also have a black background. That's why this decision makes no sense.

Mmm, I suppose - maybe crap is a bit strong, but I personally prefer it in white.

When did BBC2 show a Torchwood trailer?

Well every other high-profile programme has had one so far so I wouldn't be surprised if one appeared for Torchwood as well.

On the subject of the box it looks much better in white although I'd have thought that the teal/turquoise would have been used simply because it's meant to be the main colour. All of this deviation from the main theme (ie. window on the world, teal coloured box) suggests to me that they may have found the original theme too restricting.

Is this an irregularly shown version of Chase? Don't think I've ever seen it before.
