It was nice that we got both a veiled acknowledgement of the new look, and extended playout this time. When the 2001 set launched, it was done so quietly, due to being put out before the childrens stuff.

Agreed about the promo style being very Channel 4 mind!


I like them, the trailer doesn't work in a sense, perhaps they should have just had a close up section of the two.

The Cappachino (sp) ident looked quite good though IMHO & I liked the little jazzy tune.

What get's me though is for the last couple of years everyone has siad how much they hated the yellow ones & how some of the trailers would look good as idents, yet they do that & you still hate them Confused Laughing

The only way to see the best idents is to make it yourself....

I'm glad that BBC is giving us the templates so we can mock them, and best of all, the best mock actually will be used on air...

Note: The last part is according to BBC Two site, but apparentley, they must have removed that part....

But still, the best mock will be featured on BBC Two site for us to enjoy

I think we need stings...

Also with the trailers, I am interested in seeing the other colours in this scheme, as well as menus and ECPs and other junctions.

I can't bring myself to like these new 2's. The older set was much nicer, which at least had personallity. And they say TV Pres isn't going down the drain...

I think there are 2 idents for each theme, two Tents, two Cappucino, two Chases, which i think is good, as you will think to yourself, which one will it be!

Looks like the Announcer on bbc 2 scotland was a bit jumbled up with her words there lol! Seascape also on bbc 2 Scotland 11:30

Seascape was just on, liked that one although I agree the box is quite intrusive. I think, if they are going to keep it, that they should move it down a bit & shrink it a bit also, but it looked rather good Very Happy

The sea ident looked quite nice. However depending on what is being shown behind it the BBC TWO box sometimes looks too high.

I'm thinking Chase has two versions but tent has three I believe.
