Agreed - the top sticks out a wee bit more as well. Give it a bit of a trim and it looks like:

So comparing this to 1991, it is less chunky by a fraction overall - but actually makes for a nicer looking two IMO.
I notice on that pitch, the two has a longer tail than the original 1991 version.

Paper Cut Out was always a weird one, almost as if there was too much lighting from behind and facing it, creating a really pointless and not very pretty distortion of the two.

What did confuse me a bit were the copper and paper 'cut out' idents. Yes, I can see that the two is slightly angled to reveal a bit of background but Paper Cut Out seems to have two colour tones on the two which I don't understand the significance of, whereas on Copper Cut Out, the tail doesn't seem to stick out and seems flush with the wall when it perhaps shouldn't be, if the two is supposed to be on an angle.

Is this the final proposal? I sure hope it is! I love the look of that; I'd love to see BBC Two displaying that inbetween programmes. Definitely the rebrand BBC Two needs.
