BBC Two Predator ident

I managed to capture its first showing on NI, and I have uploaded it here for anyone who is interested....

Well done BBC2, although I've yet to see Predator 2006. But supposing there's a downside to this nostalgia kick? Wouldn't surprise me if they plan to drop the 2 and these idents were rehashed to soften the blow

Didn't they use Garden for the Chelsea flower show last year?

That was 2001, when, incidentally, they used a promo which would have made a nice ident itself.

Didn't really keep an eye out last year, so I'm not sure, but I wouldn't have thought so. I do know it was re-instated for the 2001 show, back when the striped logo of '97 and accompanying range of idents were still in use.

How great to see that back on our screens. Of all the ones I thought they'd pick (if they were going back in time again), it would be Garden but I guess that's a bit too 'old school' and not exactly a stunning ident either. Predator on the other hand is perfect, a wonderfully colourful ident made all the more better by that fantastic NI announcement

Wonder if it'll be played it into News 24 tonight?! hint, hint...
