I'm glad to see BBC2 are to show 'Three Up, Two Down' starting this Wednesday during Afternoon Classics, a very enjoyable and much underrated sitcom starring Angela Thorne and Michael Elphick. I hope they show all four series (25 episodes in total), as there is a 'Will They/Won't They' storyline running throughout this sitcom, and showing it incomplete will not reveal how their relationship pans out.

As far as I can remember, though, the BBC1 early nineties repeats didn't show this sitcom complete from start to finish. While it doesn't hugely matter with some sitcoms, Three Up, Two Down is different, because, as I say, it has a continuing storyline which doesn't reach its conclusion until the very final episode. Showing it incomplete would be totally unsatisfactory as it won't reveal the outcome.

I'm pretty sure BBC2 will. Every comedy they've shown in the Afternoon Classics strand has been shown complete (To the Manor Born most recent example)

I haven't been closely following the repeats of To the Manor Born, and do correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure that all the episodes have been shown. According to the Radio Times TV Listings, it seems that there are 19 To the Manor Born episodes listed (starting from the first episode, shown on the first day of Afternoon Classics Season 3, and ending with tomorrow's final episode). That's 2 episodes missing (there were 21 episodes in total, if you exclude the 2007 Christmas episode).

... just to add, Series 1 Episode 8 was last shown on Christmas Day 2014, according to the BBC episodes guide. That would explain why the Radio Times TV listings shows 19 episodes since the start of Afternoon Classics Season 3.
It's curious as to why Sr.3 Ep.2 wasn't shown, though, isn't it?

"Episode Two Station Closing" 25 October 1981
The local railway station is to be closed, so Audrey launches a campaign to save it. Richard, however, secretly buys it and plans to turn it into a cash and carry. Then British Rail decide to keep the station open after all to service a new school, but Richard soon finds a new site. Guest starring Richard Thorp, Bruce Bould and William Moore.
Saw this today and I'm not too keen on the left hand stack - as well as it looking slightly out of alignment. A bit of an oddity for NI.
That looks susipiciously like the idea over in the mock forum. And yes, the logo does look out of place directly under the 2 - I'd still say drop it to the bottom.

Looks like Sr.2 Ep.3 of Three Up, Two Down ('Arrivals and Departures') is going to be omitted from this repeat run, according to Radio Times TV Listings .
In light of this, I would assume there may be one or two other episodes left out as well. I've sent them a complaint. Whether they'll reconsider and show all episodes, I don't know (but I doubt it).

Race? offensive? Homophobic? election? plenty of reason to drop stuff

It's about as inoffensive as sitcoms get, but it's possible that there's a reason for its omission, of course.
