BBC TWO old programmes, old pres?

Seems like some other old presentation aired on BBC Two over the weekend

I understand Afternoon Classsics is returning on 24th February. I do hope they show more BBC2 1991-2001 era idents during this second season.

What programmes are being broadcast?

More of the same, I think, including Are you Being Served and Allo' Allo', but I hear Bergerac is to be shown.

I wish they would show Shoestring instead (of which Bergerac was a spin-off). I much preferred it, and it is so rarely shown.

14:45 - Cagney and Lacey
15:30 - Bergerac
16.30 - Are you being served?
16:50 - 'Allo, 'Allo!

Timings, according to Radio Times online TV listings for 24th Feb:

(14:45 ~ 15:30) - Cagney and Lacey
(15:30 ~ 16:20) - Bergerac
(16:20 ~ 16:50) - Are You Being Served?
(16:50 ~ 17:15) - 'Allo 'Allo!

As a fan of the BBC2 1991-2001 ident era, I sent the BBC a request that they kindly show more idents from this era during the forthcoming second season of Afternoon Classics programming. The reply I received today seemed encouraging, and I get the impression that they feel it is a good suggestion and one which, one would hope, they will give consideration to, but I wonder if other fans of this era might kindly send them a similar request, thereby increasing the likelihood of this happening.

Whats the email address you used? I wish to suggest some more advantageous programmes like " horizon" or omnibus etc along with The full Two ronnies series

I sent it as a "complaint" , via the BBC's online facility, even though it was simply a polite request, and worded as such. As far as I know, it's the only way you will definitely get a reply from them (if you request this):
