I'm afraid that is looking increasingly likely. This is from The Times...

I hope so, because it's horrible news if true.

Complete bunkum, I grew up watching Ted in Dictionary Corner on Calendar Countdown and I'm quite a bit off 30 years old myself.

There's your "bunkem" - it was only called "Calendar Countdown" for the pilot that was shown on YTV only, launching Channel 4 as "Countdown" in 1982, 31 years ago.

If you're under 30, you never watched "Calendar Countdown".

Can I gently suggest that you might benefit from doing little research before posting rather than continuing to dig yourself into a hole?

Now you're making jokes about the situation?

A figure of speech, which I will concede may have been clumsily chosen, but my point stands that you're making yourself look more foolish with every ill-informed post you're making in this thread, apparently looking for offence where none was intended.

Just to go back to the Laser disk talk, Does this mean between 1991-1997 the network could have sent up ident on a clean feed and Glasgow would just add its own Laser disk name?
