I really am confused now. At 23:15, we had a local Party Election Broadcast. On Analogue and Digital, the symbol read 'BBC TWO'...yet the announcer proclaims 'This is BBC TWO Northern Ireland'.
I thought 'BBC TWO Northern Ireland' no longer existed.
0600-1800: same continuity on both analogue and digital - local announcers but 'BBC TWO' branding on idents and local announcer only ever speaking of 'BBC TWO'. Any local programmes broadcast during this time are also trailed as being on 'BBC TWO'.
1800-Learning Zone: Analogue continues with local announcer but 'BBC TWO' branding on idents. Digital has separate local continuity with 'BBC TWO NI' branding on idents.
Now - out of the blue - for one five minute programme - we have 'BBC TWO Northern Ireland' verbally on both analogue and digital?? We also had this for the Party Election Broadcast last night too.
Can someone explain the 'logic'??
