Earlier this afternoon straight after Dangermouse and ahead of Working Lunch, BBC TWO NI showed the 'monitors/TVs' cross-promo menu.

But instead of BBC TWO graphics on the top monitor, it showed BBC ONE...but even those graphics weren't accurate, as seen in the Video here...How did that happen?!

How on earth did that happen?
Was that menu even around before CBBC ditched the bugs?
Very strange goings on there.

That CBBC bit was around. I liked those idents, even if they weren't around very long.

Very sloppy. Even the CBeebies thing is wrong - the bug background disappears after a split second when the logo is on its own.

Rather than start a new thread I will place this here as its related.

During the credits of the TopGear repeat on network BBC2 tonight a multi-channel menu appeared, no idents were shown just the channel logos. However, it was the old BBC1 box with the 'ONE' written in Gills Sans.

Anyone else catch this?

I do remember seeing that, yes. The logos are a bit inconsistent at the moment aren't they! BBC 1 has three different ones still on air -- The old boxed Gill Sans, new logo boxed [that isn't even used on the channel's main trails or idents, and is there purely to fit in with the rest of the family], and the actual new logo sans box.

At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if each channel logo ends up branching out and being quite different from the next.

Strangely the (new) red box is used on BBC Scotland's promotions for the football. But I think that's to match the Radio Scotland box above it.

Well, they ARE going to be - as of Sunday, only BBC4, News 24 and BBC Parliament will be using Gil Sans logos, so the majority - 1, 2, 3, CBBC & CBeebies and all the national radio stations - will be different in some fashion.

You forgot the local radio stations (and there is a lot of them).

And on Tuesday afternoon (I think) we had the purple BBC TWO NI Now/Next graphic with the text from a BBC ONE NI Now/Next caption overlaid.
