BBC Two: new idents from Sunday 18 February

Uploading it to my YouTube for those that missed it.

Fades, I could've understood, but fast-paced wipes? Different, and probably a bit old-school; is that a bad thing? Compared to the NI attempt, it's very much a rapid fire 'bombardment' of 2's!

Nice to see Pred... I mean, Venus Fly Trap, and the Frosty Winter Olympics ident included among the bunch. The segue from and to ident music snippets was done reasonably well.

Our Robotic 2 friend has now been switched off, and to an end comes 16 years of Lambie-Nairn presentation on the channel.

Farewell; I shall miss these idents. So it goes, in with the new.

Certainly an interesting montage - would have preferred something slower and perhaps at least one ident in full.

Still better than nothing and it was good to see them all (or most if not all of them) for one final time.. wonder if we will see a final ident into Balamory at 06:00?

Well, now that the yellow idents are gone, and the new one up and running in few minutes, let us all circle around, and talk about the new ident after the today's new ones released.....

I wonder, what will BBC Two look like by 2020?

Very kind of you to upload but am I right in saying the trouble with uploading the BBC-Montage to "You Tube" is that it can't be saved for prosperity?

Great montage; well packaged, especially with it's continuous soundtrack. I really liked the yellow 2s, I'll be sad to see them go.

Indeed, looks like the normal play of "Formation" was to be the last of the old style idents just before CBeebies at 6am this morning.

Wa-hey! the yellow twos are officially gone in like, under half an hour! I couldn't be more glad, they were absoloutely dreadful, I mean, imagine what it must've been like seeing those after the end of the 1991-2001 ident golden age. arg! well, I've managed to refrain from seeing the new idents, so I'm really looking forward to 10. A.M
