Who says people idents are a bad thing? As has been stated before Channel 4 uses people idents, and those gave a lease of new life for the flying blocks.
People idents aren't necessarily a problem, just as long as it's not just showing people walking around, grinning and with a logo slapped on.
And colours, shapes and fancy effects can be used sometimes, but not always.

They will now become the last of the mainstream terrestrial idents to have people in them, and I just wonder why idents cannot be done graphically with colours, shapes and fancy effects rather than just plonking it in a surburban setting with people smiling in a really fake way.

These look great, I'm really suprised, I had a fear they were going to be dreadful.

I remember discussing this way back and i think we came to the conclusion that the first one will air at 10am, before Something For The Weekend. This is because we think there is no ident before CBeebies on a Sunday, which is the first program after Ceefax. After that the next junction is after CBBC Smile which is 10am.

We are not all untrustworthy. I find it a cheek you put that in brackets to make it sound like i am not to be trusted. My source was the BBC themselves as i called them to find out and they told me it would be released this morning. Which it has.

Managed to find a computer anyway - looks good...
Sorry about the outburst. Out of character and just out of bed! Spencer made me see it clearer that i should have mentioned my source.

Those new idents look good. Reminds me of the old style 2's. Thought they would have had the same style logo as BBC One has. I hope the old ones get a decent send off on Saturday night.
