Well thought it would be easier here but found some photos on the net. Sorry if you have already seen them but looked good. I never got a response from the BBC as yet but I know sometimes they can take a while.

The blue 2 in the second picture, in the background doesn't look right

I think the 2 in these 2 photos are the same as the one with the fluffy 2.

How come the 'car' 2 there is red, rather than blue?

There was a 1997 Christmas trail which had a red car I think, with Jeremy Clarkson IIRC.

Correct, it ends with Quentin Wilson shaking his head in disbelief

They moan about TVF yet their thread is no better, I agree about the name "Merry Media".

Well, as we enter the Yellow 2s final week, why dont we vote for our top 3 yellow idents.
IMO this set of idents have come in for a lot of criticism but i dont think they were too bad. I think they were very good. OK they werent a patch on the 90s idents but will any set of idents eevr match that set?
MY TOP 3 IS:
3) Morris Dancers
2) Fire
1) Invisible Walls
RR
Ronnie Rowlands
Best-
1) Invisble walls.
2) Bounce sombre.
3) Fire.

Worst

My favourites are

Bounce (serious soundtrack)
The nice soundtrack and the visuals fit the idea of a "serious" ident.

The jokey group (Sticky Label, Domino, Remote, Drip)
These are witty, clever and make good use of the 2's robotic state.

Morris Dancers
Need I say more?

And something rather interesting's happened on BBC2's ETA page - it's now saying the wallchart's 742mB long.
RR
Ronnie Rowlands
What are your top 3 though? You can't include a group.

Well yes you can actually.

I thought Fire was really good, I think it looked good, especially with the moment of 'calm' at the end were there's no movement bar the environment. I also like the Chrstmas one from last year.

I think those two are effective because of the darkened backgrounds, making a bit different.

Gareth Williams
Best

1. Fire
2. Bounce (sombre)
3. The dog one which is usually used before comedies

Worst

1. Christmas 2003 (ice cube)
2. Drip
3. Drum
