Not sure if this has been mentioned, but at the end of Dragons' Den there was a NEXT strap which swiped on and off the screen for Party Animals.

And they wonder why alcoholism is such a big problem. Alcohol abuse (actually, it's not really abuse, more a practical use) is a perfectly valid response to living in a world which contains c**** who think such vandalism is acceptable. There are other valid responses, but unfortunately they're all illegal.

The BBC Two website ( www.bbc.co.uk/bbctwo ) seems very 'simple' at the moment (9.35am):

1st Box:
Title: BBC TWO
(Still image of fluttering "2's")
Strapline: "Intelligent entertainment. For the best comedy, documentaries, drama and current affairs, enter the world of BBC Two."

2nd Box:
Title: BBC TV
Link: BBC TV programmes and channels

3rd Box:
Title: BBC Channels
Links: BBC ONE | BBC THREE | BBC FOUR

Is it normal for there to be a lack of 'BBC Two information' this early in the morning? In contrast, the other BBC channels' websites are all updated and promoting upcoming programmes left, right and centre.

The actual BBC TWO Slug...:

Bizarrely, what you see there is when it was viewed in 4:3, even though the programme itself was widescreen. The result of viewing that same slug in 16:9 to match the programme's AR would of course have made the BBC TWO logo too wide...
Confused

Oh, and Snow (Short) was the first ident to be shown this morning. Shame the Long version appears to not be in use now though.

Back on topic> Do you remember a while back that I was emailing some companies to find out about any props that may exist from BBC 2?

Well thought it would be easier here but found some photos on the net. Sorry if you have already seen them but looked good. I never got a response from the BBC as yet but I know sometimes they can take a while.

I wonder if that fluffy dog was the one used in the horror movie ident?

Wow - that's hilarious.

I can't believe most of that's a year old and I've not seen it til now.

I'm particularly honoured to have been singled out as a "real genuine idiot " for suggesting that Merry Media was a dreadful name for a forum. When in fact, I should have realised that the forum was... (wait for it)... simply a feature of the main Merry Media site! Oh the shame of it.

Still a sh*t name either way.
