Not sure if this has been mentioned, but at the end of Dragons' Den there was a NEXT strap which swiped on and off the screen for Party Animals.

Argh! Just saw a 'whats on next' slug appearing at the end of dragons den. It was a yellow banner with the box. It came on at the bottom of the screen.
Never seen this before, although they tried it on BBC One a few years back.
I just hope its not a trial to see if they should include these slugs in the new package

Any chance of a capture at all anyone?

I wonder if the BBC 2 snow idents will get an outing tomorrow, with the forecasts of heavy snow for the UK.

ITV and Channel 4 manage to do Next Captions in a subtle and simple way, why does the beeb choose to do it intrusivley (is that a word)

Not quite. I didn't see a "Next On" on my TV. Just the BBC TWO logo, and then "Next Party Animals" next to it on a yellow backing.

I think it's already in use, well the short version of it anyway. Saw it at the weekend before Ski Sunday, fairly long play.
Speaking of long plays, a very lengthy showing of the short Causeway before N24 on NI tonight (and given the version, likely full), left to run for a few more seconds after the anno - not dissimilar to Network's Bounce Sombre (also short) from a night ago, albeit that was a bit shorter.
