I loved that one. I always like W&G's expressions.

Hopefully when TV Ark returns tomorrow you can watch the clip. Right at the end W&G raise a glass to the camera.

This was also a very good Christmas ident from 1993 and features quite possibly the longest form up ever for a BBC ident. It also won a BAFTA as did the Wallace and Gromit one.

Reboot
Given that they updated the 2000 ident to have the purple box earlier this year for the Winter Olympics (and it turned up again a few times afterwards), half surprised that hasn't been reused this year.

I missed the "2 Night" Christmas bumper last year and look set to miss it again - is there an ideal time to catch it?

Not as such AFAICT (plus, there's a "2 Day" version as well).

I've seen both, with the 2 Night variant seemingly more common, shown occasionally throughout the daytime - that's as much as I can say on it really.

just been looking on the bbc2 website, between the 'flappy' 2 and the clip for the new graham norton, for a brief second there is a shot of the bbc2 winter/spring presentation. its blue like the website with a circle of small 2's, wonder if this will make it onscreen?

Yes but seeing as all channels "must look the same" in this corporate trend it wouldn't suprise me

Actually, the trend is now usually, corporate logo, or inclusion of masterbrand logo, and individual looks for the channels!

In a multi-channel world, each needs to stand out.
