OK, so we got the BBC Two clock.

After the news, in the East, we got a swan ident and CA from TV centre who said 'Time for some regional news now on BBC Two'. Then Look East Lunchtime started. The ident wasn't a regional ident.

Yes, we also got a swan ident and CA from TV centre who said 'Time for some regional news now on BBC Two'. Then Newsroom South East started. Strange,eh?

Umm, interesting! Obviously the regions couldn't be bothered to do more live announcing or create other variations so London just said 'we'll do a generic announcement.'

Even more unusual on BBC TWO North;

We had that Network Swan ident, and then the short Look North sting introduced the bulletin
The Headlines complete with the bed was then played a couple of seconds into the bulletin.
The presenter was Peter Levy.

There was no Midlands insert in the BBC News at One headlines. We got the exact same ident in the Midlands but we then got UK Today and no Midlands Today. It was UK Today again later on. Pebble Mill must have been having a few problems, but the 6.30 programme was on as usual.

I checked both and it was on neither. I have On Digital and that update is always on anyway. Midlands Today managed to swap the other day but not today for some reason. Perhaps Nick Owen forgot to return from the canteen.

Is it possible to be only partially out of the country? Smile

South Today had a proper regional ident (Wave Day).
