Surely BBC One should get special iden't aswell, because they beccame BBC One on the same day as BBC Two started, instead of just BBC Television Service.

As long as it's shown whole and un-cropped, that'd be worth watching. BBC2 is still my favorite channel.
They had a celebration and an ident for the 30th anniversary, so the possibility of having a 40th is slim, but with that footage, who knows!

Their 30th Anniversary ident was based on the "Powder" ident with the 2 splatting down into the cake and cream flying everywhere...
