It turns out that BBC North does have a regionalised BBC TWO ident.

It was used just before 'North of Westminster' with Morland Sanders.

It was Bounce, and a tiny 'Yorks & Lincs' was in the purple box!

It doesn't seem to be used for Close Up North though

Of course BBC London just used a network ident, but as far as I could make out BBC South East did use a regional ident, but as my reception of it is pretty appalling I couldn't really see it properly.

BBC North East and Cumbria has a regional one, shown before Close up North during the week. Its the bounce version as well(seems to be a pattern there), only it now says NE & Cumbria. Anyone else agree that the BBC didnt exactly leave enough space for the regional names!!

Coincidentally the adverts for the regional programmes are still made in the old style, at least here in the NE!

Yeah I agree, this is Lambie Nairn's fault, yet another reason why the previous idents were better becuse they left enough space for the full regional name!

I definitely saw a Close Up North advert for the North East and Cumbria with the new BBC Two purple box on instead of the centred text... the programme text was different though to that used on network trails.

And before tonights CLOSE UP NORTH, the ident said..

BBC TWO North

So there must be two versions - 'North' and 'Yorks & Lincs'

Trailers are now being done in the new style in this region too.
