on bbc2 this morning for pages from ceefax there was no ident instead it was just a black screen.
and there was no ceefax slide either instead there was a still bbc1 ident of those dancers on top of a london buliding!
I do the same and its for this very reason why I do. I haven't seen a breakdown before and I was surprised to see, of all things, the BBC One Capoeira Still as opposed to the BBC Two Bounce Still. Is anyone able to shed any light as to what happened? I was hoping that we would end up with an ident playing clean after the announcement from Dean Lydiate.
Let's get this in perspective, MANY on here are interested in TV Presentation. This IS a Forum for the very same.
Now, there is more likely to be different concepts of Presentation occuring before a closedown at 6am in the morning than at any other time during the day. So, therefore I can see nothing bizarre or strange in following what happens on BBC-2 at 6am each morning.
If you use a recorder then it doesnt even have to interfere with your beauty sleep!

Well said MalcyB.
Anyone who has a problem with individuals recording junctions - irrespective of what time of day it happens to be - should shut up and clear off out of here. This, unless I'm mistaken, is a Presentation Forum.
I see no problem with the subject matter of this thread. It's not every day that one channel manages to transmit another channel's symbol. Very probably a first for Network BBC TWO.
It happened when the news moved to BBC TWO during Wimbledon one year.
Indeed - the announcer 'bouncing us back to Wimbledon' over the Salsa ident currently also going out on BBC One. There used to be a video of it on some website that randomly disappeared...
