BBC Wales had that ident which had the BBC One Wales logo in the left corner and BBC Nil Germany in the right corner.
Also, when the 1991 franchises were announced, HTV added the words: "Thanks For The Future" to their idents.

And were the following 11 years much good? No.
Oh well, HTV is effectively dead and buried now - let's move on.

They still use the BBC TWO/FOUR flip for BBC2 broadcasts of BBC4 programmes in the post-Newsnight slot. Unless those have stopped now. But they certainly used that ident quite a lot.

I saw it. Nice little spin. Shame they didn't use Logo and get the 2 to turn it over as they did with the BBC4/3 launch nights.

So BBC2 is Channel of the Year, yet remains the only terrestrial channel not (fully) 24 hours.
Does that not prove something?
Does that not prove something?

Errrr... no actually.
Does that mean all analogue channels 15 or so years ago were channel of the year? Does it mean the panel thought "Oh, BBC Two closes down. Therefore, the award goes to..."? Um. No.
