Does this mean that BBC One is running late? Will the news start late, I wonder.

And BBC One have just had some problems aswell at the BAFTAs. The picture flickered a bit, the sound went and then the picture went off for a good 20 seconds!

And, Graham Norton was a mistake.

Oh, I don't know, Graham Norton was an EXCELLENT choice.

It enabled me to totally ignore BBC One and watch Hustle and Twentieth Century Roadshow off tape.

I'm actually up-to-date with all my recorded stuff now, till I go out again tomorrow night for YET more alcohol.

every gag is falling flat and half the people coming up to win the awards are complete unknowns, who were those from I'm a Celebrity?, why wern't we told.

Yes, a lot of the "comedy" efforts seemed to go down like the proverbial lead balloon.
I thought the show really needed a voiceover, to cover the long winner walkups, and to fill in something useful about the people who were picking up the gongs. Even a caption naming them would have added some sort of interest. And the third time G Norton made a yawning sort of reference to the excessive length of the show, I found myself shouting at the telly "Look, if the gig's too tough for you, p**s off and give it to someone who wants it..."

Must say that from the tiny bit I DID see, whilst changing tapes over, Mr Norton looked as if he'd just wandered in off the street after sleeping in the local skip.

No tie and a jacket that looked as if it had last seen an iron in nineteen seventy.

I KNOW I'm old fashioned, but whatever happened to evening dress for a function like that?

Great! Topic about a technical fault gets hijacked by Graham Norton!

Moving on....

I quite agree. I shall be going out tomorrow into Cardiff, and seeing how fab I look all in black on Metropol, I shall put on my suit along with a black shirt.

If that doesn't get the girls begging to come back with me in the taxi, then I don't know what will! Wink

Did anyone manage to get any captures of the technical faults on both BBC ONE and/or TWO?

I should have thought about what I was requesting before I actually posted! I was wondering if anyone had the moment it went off air, the apology captions or the idents shown in some regions please.
